The cabin
I'm David. My wife and I bought Bear Necessity Cabin in Ellijay, Georgia in 2023. Beautiful place. Slow internet. A lot of dogwood trees. We list on Airbnb and VRBO, manage through Hospitable, and let PriceLabs handle dynamic pricing.
By the time you're a year in, you have data in five places and no time to actually read it. That bothered me.
The problem
Every Sunday morning I'd run the same loop: open Hospitable to check next week's bookings, switch to Airbnb to check the insights dashboard, switch to PriceLabs to see what tomorrow's rate looked like, and end up in a Google Sheet trying to figure out whether we were pacing ahead of last year.
I'm a software engineer, so eventually I did what software engineers do: I got annoyed enough to build the thing I wished existed.
That thing is StayMetrics.
Where it is now
Live and accepting new hosts. A growing group of hosts — me included — use it daily. New features ship most weeks. It's still early, so some corners are rough; I ship fixes as I find them, and the hosts using it are generous with feedback.
If "useful but not yet polished" sounds like something you can work with, come kick the tires. If you want a Salesforce-y product with a five-figure annual contract and a sales engineer assigned to your account — this isn't that, and it probably never will be.

Honest about where we are
Early means early. I won't tell you we have 10,000 customers when we're just getting started. You'll always know what works, what's coming, and what's broken.
Your data is yours
Export anything, anytime. Cancel anytime and your data stays exportable for 30 days. No held-hostage migrations.
Self-serve at every price point
Even the highest tier is self-serve. No demo gate. No quote-on-request. The pricing page shows the actual number for your portfolio size.
